Copa del Rey 2026: table, fixtures and results

The Copa del Rey, the King's Cup, is Spain's national knockout competition, organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It brings together clubs from La Liga and the second division with teams from the lower tiers and even regional champions, while reserve sides cannot enter.

Most rounds are decided in a single match, and in the early stages the tie is played at the ground of the lower-ranked club, a rule that has produced plenty of upsets. The four clubs involved in the Spanish Super Cup enter later than the rest. The semi-finals are the only round played over two legs, and the final is a single match at a neutral stadium chosen by the federation. The winners qualify for the UEFA Europa League and for the next Spanish Super Cup.
